Nelson Hill joined JDL Horizons as a videographer in 2008. He currently conducts and produces on-camera interviews at trade shows and in other venues under JDL’s programming partnership with eSchool News, and provides internal video editing and production support to the company and its partners.
Prior to joining JDL, Mr. Hill studied digital cinema at Northern Michigan University, Marquette, and completed the renowned One Year Filmmaking Workshop at the New York Film Academy in New York City. While there, a number of the short films he wrote and directed were produced by the Academy.
In addition to hands-on experience with a variety of film and video cameras, Mr. Hill has more than five years of experience with Final Cut Pro digital editing software, and also is proficient with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
